Substitution of Halogens on Furan by Hydrazines Stable Derivatives of 5-Hydrazinofuran

Abstract: Selected alkyl- and arylhydrazines displace bromine at furan in (5-bromo-2-furyl)ethylenetricarbonitrile and in the novel methyl (E)-3-(5-bromo-2-furyl)-2,3-dicyanopropenoate to give the corresponding 5-hydrazino-substituted nitriles and propenoates. Some spectral properties of the prepared compounds are discussed.
