Phytochemical study of salvia-officinalis l

Abstract: β-Ursolic and  β-oleanolic acids, 7-ethylrosmanol, cirsimaritin, luteolin-7-0-glucoside, apigenin-7-O-glucoside, β -sitosterol, and saccharose were found in the leaves of salvia (Salvia officinalis L.). Cirsimaritin and äpigenin-7-0-glucoside were isolated from this plant species for thefirsttime and the presence of 7-ethylrosmanol in the genus Salvia has not been reported as yet.
