Determination of copper, molybdenum and manganese by atomic absorption spectrometry in mineral waters

Abstract:  In the present work, first of all the matrix effect is studied in atomic absorption determination of molybdenum separated from waters by concentration-separation procedure. In addition to this, the actual procedure in copper and manganese atomic absorption in identical samples is described. The results obtained by atomic absorption and atomic emission spectrometry are compared. It is proved that no systematic error occurs in these methods.
