Determination of aromatic amines by the method of direct injection enthalpimetry

Abstract: An enthalpimetric detn. of arom. amines based on the diazotization and nitrosation reaction heats was developed. This detn. was verified with 7 selected amines, i.e. sulfanilic acid, p-aminobenzoic acid, aniline, o-toluidine, α-naphthylamine, benzidine, and Ph₂NH. The method of double injection, esp. suited for high values of reaction heats was applied.
