Synthesis, herbicidal and insecticidal efficacy of N-hydroxy-1,4-epoxycyclohex-5-ene-2,3-dicarboximide and its 0-substituted derivatives

Abstract: N-Hydroxy-l,4-epoxycyclohex-5-en-2,3-dicarboximide and its O-alkyl, O-alkenyl, O-aralkyl, and O-acyl derivatives were synthesized. Some of the prepared compounds were found to have a relatively low herbicidal and insecticidal efficiency.
