Abstract: The emission spectrochemical properties of magnesium oxide matrix with the contents of MgO 85% has been gradually investigated. In the present paper, the influence of the sample prearcing, the dilution, with graphit powder as well as the influence of three various excitation sources on the scatter diagrams parameters and the statistical tests of these parameters have been studied.
