Liquid-vapor equilibrium of the trans-1,3-dichloro-2-buten/2,3,4-trichloro-1-butene system

Abstract:  The vapour pressure dependence of trans-1,3-dichlorobut-2-ene on temperature, as well as the liquid —vapour equilibrium of frans-1,3-dichlorobut-2-ene —2,3,4-trichlorobut-1-ene system at 40 torr absolute pressure were measured. Based upon the measured data, y — x and t — x,y equilibrium diagrams were plotted. It has been found that the mentioned system is in accord with the ideal system laws.
