Chromatographic separation between ¹³¹I^-, ¹³¹IO₃^-, and ¹³¹IO₄^-

Abstract: The sepn. of ¹³¹I^-, ¹³¹IO₃^-, and ¹³¹IO₄^- with chem. prepd. and papers not chem. prepd. in various mobile phases was described. Whatman paper 2, treated with 20% Fe(OH)₃, or with 20% BaCl₂ and 10% Na₂SO₄ or with 5% (by vol.). in CCl₄ of liquid anion exchanger (Anex PC-Amin KMsek) was applied. As mobile phases 96% EtOH-H₂O-concd. NH₄OH in the ratio 6:2:7, or 0.01M NaOH or H₂O were applied. Rf values, time of development, and 3 chromatograms of chem. prepd. and papers not chem. prepd. with various mobile phases are given.
