Zinc tartrates

Abstract: Of all Zn tartrates described, only ZnC₄H₄O₆ was found to be a chem. individual by x-ray, gravimetric, and differential thermal analyses. By modifying the prepn. procedure, the bitartrate complex Na₂Zn(C₄H₄O₆)₂ was also obtained in sufficiently pure form.
