Osmometric study of complex cyanides and chlorides

Abstract: The equivalence of the bindings between the central atom and the CN groups, which exists in the crystal, is altered in aq. solns. of K₃Fe(CN)₆, K₄Fe(CN)6, KAg(CN)₂, K₂Ni(CN)₄, and H₃Co(CN)₆. Similar changes were not obsd. between the central atom and the halogen in Na₂PtCl₆, H₂TeCl₆, and NH₄HF₂.
