Mercurimetric determination of chlorides

Abstract: The suitability of Votocek's (C.A. 32, 44693) method for mercurimetric detn. of chlorides with nitroprusside as indicator was studied. The non-interfering and interfering ions and their elimination were detd. A method for the detn. of small amts. of chlorides in the presence of great amts. of other salts is described.
