Metallic salts of (3-pyridylcarbonylamino)succinic acid

Abstract: Complex Fe²⁺, Co²⁺, and Co³⁺ salts were prepd. with (3-pyridylcarbonylamino)succinic acid and org. aliphatic or aliphatic mono- and poly-HO acids. They were crystd. from water and found to be stable except Fe²⁺ salt with ascorbic acid. The following salts are described: Fe²⁺, Co²⁺, and Co³⁺ with citric, Fe²⁺ with ascorbic, and Co2 with acetic and tartaric acids.
