The function of trace elements in the nutrition of plants

Abstract: ME-49, composed of 10 parts B, 7 Mn, 1 Cu, 1 Zn, 0.05 I, 0.05 Br, 0.1 Ti, 0.05 Sn, 0.05 Li, 0.1 Ni, 0.1 Co, and 250 citric acid or NH₄ citrate and superphosphate and further dild. by superphosphate in the ratio 1:0.96 was prepd. The increase in growth and no. of the leaves in the seedlings of Prunus avium and Prunus insititia was observed if cultivated on the fields fertilized by ME-49. Prunus insititia showed a direct dependence of the growth and no. of the leaves on the amt. of added trace elements.
