An osmometric study of cations

Abstract: cf. Stehl´ik and Tk´ac (C.A. 44, 7218c). The rush no. of a metallic cation is greater, the greater the charge. At the same charge it is directly proportional to the square root of its at. wt. and inversely proportional to the square root of the mol. wt. of the alc. These relations are discussed from the point of view of the kinetic theory.
