Abstract: The rush membrane indicates 2 mol. compds. in dil. mixts. of NH₃ and HCl: NH₃.HCl and 4NH₃.HCl. Mol. compds. of NH₄Cl with 2 butanols or 3 lower alcs. indicate that NH₄⁺ is a H ion co.ovrddot.ordinated by one mol. of NH₃.
