Interpolation method for the determination the initial rate of a chemical reaction with non-linear characteristic

Abstract: A numerical method for determination of the initial rate of a non-linear chemical reaction is described. It is based on the application of Newton's interpolation equation. By this method, using the measured concentration change as a function of time, the initial reaction rate may be calculated with satisfactory accuracy.
