Preparation of 6,6'-dideoxylactose

Abstract:  The preparation of the above compound from methyl 2,2',3,3'-tetra-O-acetyl-6-deoxy-β-lactoside via 6'-O-methanesulfonyl, 6,6'-dideoxy-6'-iodine, and 6,6'-dideoxy derivatives is described.
