Preparation of methyl-3,6-dideoxy-3-(L-glyceroylamido)-α-D-glucopyranosides

Abstract:  The preparation of the above compound by the reaction of methyl 3-amino-3,6-dideoxy-α-D-glucopyranoside with methyl L-glycerate and the antibacterial activity of the obtained product are described.
