Gas-chromatographic separation of propane-propylene chloro derivatives

Abstract: Conditions for chromatographic detn. of allyl chloride in the presence of other chloro derivs. were described. Elution vols. of. satd. and unsatd. mono and dichloro derivs. of propylene were measured. Ph₃PO₄ was found to be an optimum stationary phase and was very suitable for the sepn. of other halogen derivs. The reasons for a lower sepn. efficiency of tritolyl phosphate were discussed.
