Determination of magnesium by flame AAS detection with flow injection analysis

Abstract: A simple arrangement of theflowinjection analyzer (FIA) was applied to the determination of magnesium by flame atomic absorption spectrome­try (FAAS) in samples of luminophores of the type of aluminates. The influence of carrier medium and other parameters on absorption signal of magnesium has been discussed and the calibration methods have been assessed for the FIA—FAAS method.
