Abstract: The preparation of 6-deoxy-6-amino-hepta-0-acetylsucrose, 6-deoxy-6- -amino-hep ta-0-acetyl-, and 6,6'-diamino-hexa-0-acetyl-α,α-trehalose from the corresponding tosyl derivatives is described.
