Determination of iodine in organic preparations by measuring the intensity of the reflected β-radiation

Abstract: The detn. of I in org. prepns. by applying the reflection of β-radiation was described. Measurements were carried out with 2 Geiger-Mueller tubes, connected in parallel on the nuclear calculator. The reflection of β-radiation is expressed as impulses/ min. For 1.96, 3.92, 5.88, 7.84, and 9.80% I, 2344, 2587, 2865, 3100, and 3358 impulses/min., resp., were detd.
