Determination of the total sulfur in sulfides, sulfites, and thiosulfates with a cation exchanger and conductometric titration

Abstract: S in any form is oxidized with H₂O₂ in alk. medium to sulfates and H₂SO₄ is liberated with the cation exchanger in H⁺ cycle and titrated with NaOH. If Cl^- is present it is titrated with AgNO₃ or Hg(NO₃)₂. Sulfates can also be titrated conductometrically.
