Synthesis, Infrared Spectra, Conformation, and Antiyeast  Activity of 2-(Alkoxycarbonylmethylthio)-6-aminobenzothiazoles

Abstract: 2-(Alkoxycarbonylmethylthio)-6-aminobenzothiazoles were synthesized. Their conformation and electronic structure were studied both by means of IR spectra and theoretical methods (MMPI and CNDO/2). Some derivatives have shown good antiyeast activity against Candida krusei and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
