Abstract: The reactions of diaquabis(salicylato)copper(II) with 1,2-propanediamine and 1,3-propanediamine were used for the preparation of the compounds of the type Cu(sal)₂(alkanediamine)₂ and Cu (sal)₂(alkanediamine). The structure of the compounds thus prepared including ethylenediamine copper(II) complexes of the above type described in paper [1] is discussed on the basis of the study of magnetic properties and absorption spectra in solid state and in solutions.
