The structure of the a form of Kurrol's sodium salt

Abstract: Kurrol's Na salt form a, (NaPO₃)_x, contains spiral chains contg. PO₄ tetrahedrons that turn around the double multiple screw axes. The area group is P21/n. Lattice consts. are a = 12.12, b = 6.20, c = 6.99 A., and β = 92°.
