Degradation of polymers with a conjugation system

Abstract:  On the basis of the recently published experimental data some special features of the degradation of polymers with conjugation system have been studied. The specific character of this process is reflected in the form of curves of thermal degradation and in the chemical transformation of the starting structure during heating. An attempt has been made to explain these phenomena from the standpoint of present views on the reactivity of polymers with conjugation system.
