Abstract: From EtSCl and O,S-diethyl-O-p-nitrophenylthiophosphate (I), a known insecticide, p-O₂NC₆H₄O₂P(OEt)SEt, was prepd. in high yield and in pure form, b0.01-0.025 140-8°, nD20 1.5495, d20 1.2945, more suitable for biol. testing than the product prepd. by the thermal isomerization.
