The similarity criterions of hydrodynamic behavior of a fluid layer

Abstract: The derivation of similarity criteria for the hydrodynamic behavior of a fluid layer by the dimensional-analysis technique was studied. Three basic principles for a correct procedure for applying the dimensional analysis are shown. Some experimentally proved discrepancies in the literature are pointed out.
