Enzymatic-hydrolysis of  α,α-trehalose and its deoxy derivatives

Abstract: The course of enzymatic hydrolysis of 2-deoxy-, 3-deoxy-, 4-deoxy-,6-deoxy-, 2,2'-dideoxy-, 3,3'-dideoxy-, 4,4'-dideoxy-, and 6,6'-dideoxy-α,α -trehalose, catalyzed by model enzymes of the trehalase type, is described.
