Abstract:  Isothermal equilibrium data published in [1] were processed by means of the Renon NRTL equation. The values of individual constants of the equation used are given. Furthermore, a procedure for a convenient choice of initial parameters applicable to the iterative calculation of the parameters in the NRTL equation by the Newton method is presented. The results obtained indicate a non-uniqueness of solution of the NRTL equation.
