Correction of the effect of binary matrix on spectrochemical analysis

Abstract: A calcn. method was described for detg. the correction needed because of variation of the compn. of a binary matrix on the results of a spectrochem. analysis. Under special conditions a graphic solution can be applied. The method was proved by the spectroscopic detn. of CoO in a matrix with a varying ratio of CaCO₃ to MgCO₃. Vibrating electrodes were used.
