Abstract: Theory of information applied foF evaluation of efficiency of the atomic
spectrochemical methods is based on general relations. The partial coefficients
and terms of such general relations, however, have their specific spectrochemical meaning. In fact, the evaluation is concerned with the amount of new
information on the analyzed matrices gained by spetrochemical analytical
procedures. Such procedures are determined first of all by the dynamic
concentration range and relative precision of concentration determination.
