Abstract:  The preparation of 3,5-disubstituted tetrahydro-l,3,5-thiadiazine-2-thiones is described via isothiocyanate method. A series of 8 hitherto not described derivatives of thiadiazine was synthesized. The ultraviolet absorption spectra of these thiadiazines were shown to display certain differences in the character of absorption bands when contrasted with those of other compounds of this type.
