The structure of periodic acid, H₅IO₆

Abstract: By Weissenberg's projection the space group P2₁/n was detd. The lattice consts. are a = 5.30, b = 18.40, c = 4.98 A., β = 111°30'. In the basic cell 4 structural units are divided on the general point basis. The asymmetric part contains 1 structural unit.
